Best
twin pushchair Stroller For Newborns
If you're expecting twins or two children that are close in age, a double stroller is a must. The best double strollers offer different ways to ride your children including side by side seating and an attachment for a board.
Strategist writer Lauren Ro's favorite is the Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono, which is easily adapted as your family grows. It can be used with two infant car seats, as well as an infant seat. This makes it an ideal choice for twins.
Bugaboo Donkey
This is the best
twin stroller for families who need a stylish, double side-byside stroller. It's a bit bigger than other Bugaboo strollers however, it is solid and built to last. It has a handlebar that is adjustable that extends and retracts easily. It has a decent reach so my husband, who is 6'1" can easily push it, even when it is full of weight.
The seats are large and can be set up to place one child on top of the other, or to have children face each other. The seats can recline independently of one other. The canopies are large and cover both seat fabrics when desired. They're not a lot of ventilation which makes them be like an oven on hot days. They also don't have a peek-a-boo window to see the children.
This stroller features an unique feature that allows it to expand with your family and you. It can convert from one seat (Mono Mode) to a double side-by-side stroller. This is the only double stroller convertible that can do this. It can be used in conjunction with a bassinet for newborns or a car seat.
It is a breeze to use on smooth surfaces, and it handles stairs and slopes well. It isn't easy to maneuver in crowded stores and restaurants. It is also difficult to fold up, especially when the seats are tucked away. It's still pretty small, however, and can be tucked away easily.
In mono mode, there is a storage bin in front of the front seats. It is great for grocery shopping and other things. The main storage basket underneath the seats is big and can accommodate up to 100 pounds. This is more than any stroller we have listed!
Uppababy Vista v2
This stroller is among the best
twin stroller strollers for newborns. It can be used right out of box as a double stroller and is compatible with numerous infant car seats and bassets. It can even accommodate two bassinets or infant car seats simultaneously if you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.
The V2 is a redesigned version of the original Vista. The toddler seat has been elevated by a half inch, the footrest has been made larger, and the canopy is an additional fabric extension that zips out. Additionally, the harness has been updated and no longer needs to be changed out, making it simple to adjust.
The stroller is fairly large wheels (8 inches in the front and 11.5 inches in the back) with strong suspension, so it is able to handle all kinds of terrain. The wheels made of rubber on the front are great for navigating gravel and rocks and the tread on the rear wheels is more suitable for sidewalks or grassy hills.
Another feature that is great is the capability to connect a child's bicycle to the front of the stroller, making it a handy option for those who aren't keen on using an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. If you have a child who is old enough to stand up, the Vista stroller can accommodate an additional child using its piggyback board accessory.
Vista Vista is easy to use and to set up. However, it takes some time to get rid of the protective packaging. The instructions are simple to follow and there's also a YouTube video to help if you need more help.
Thule Urban Glide 3
The Thule Urban Glide 3 is the latest version of the popular stroller that is made to draw the attention of modern families who prioritize style, sustainability, and adventure. It's got exciting new features such as a built-in foot rest and an updated reclining seat, which promises unbeatable comfort for children during long walks and jogs. Its sleek, agile design increases its maneuverability.
It is incredibly light, making it easy to drive and swift to accelerate on the open road. Its suspension is able to handle abrupt changes in surface (like grass to pavement) easily and the large wheels offer plenty of traction on even the most difficult terrains. It's able to move up kerbs and around tight spaces like city streets. Even narrow sidewalks and crowded park are no problem for it.
The brand new Urban Glide 3 is a superior jogger that gives parents an abundance of comfort and ease. The large canopy offers excellent sun protection, an easy peekaboo feature and a top-quality harness system and a handbrake that is precisely adjusted. It also has ideal storage options, including inside-seat storage pockets as well as a large cargo basket that holds up to 15 pounds, with an open-top cover.
This Thule Jogger also has a bassinet, for strolling babies, and a
double umbrella stroller version to accommodate two children. It also has car seat adapters, meaning that you can use the infant carrier of your child. It also has an easy-folding system that can be folded with one hand to make it easier to transport or store. It's also a green choice because it uses solution-dyed fabric in its black color choices.
Cortina Together
Cortina Together is designed for growing families and offers parents the option of seating to meet the preferences and needs of every child. The two seats in the double stroller come with reclined backrests and canopies that are independent. The seats are also designed to accept Chicco's KeyFit or KeyFit 30, the #1 baby car seat in both the front and rear seat. (Car seat sold separately).
A large, zip-up basket at the rear provides ample storage for equipment. The handle is cushioned to allow for dad or mom. The tandem double stroller's suspension and wheels offer a smooth ride across any terrain, while the 1-touch rear brakes that are linked and have a toe-tap activation makes stopping a breeze.
In our Strollers & Multiples lab tests, Cortina Together scored well for ease of use. This is based on how simple it is to fold and set up the stroller and adjust the safety harness as well as the snack tray, engage and deengage the brakes, lift and carry the folded stroller like you would put it into a trunk, and for double strollers that are compatible, install and remove the infant car seat.
We did find some drawbacks to this model, though. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds when fully loaded and puts it closer to the extreme end of our metric. It also has limited visibility when a car-seat is installed in the back. Additionally, the front tray release can be difficult to operate, especially after long-term use. Even with these limitations, we consider this to be a great double stroller that will be able to keep your family together for years to come.
Jeep Double Stroller
The Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller is a lightweight, affordable stroller that's perfect for families with two kids. The front swivel-lock wheels turn to allow it to be maneuvered on flat surfaces and lock for stability on bumpy surfaces making it easy to travel wherever you want to go. It comes with an umbrella that folds down compactly and can be closed in just a few seconds. It also stands upright to make moving it easier. Its aluminum frame that is lightweight, foam handle and carrying strap makes it one of the most easy
stokke double stroller strollers to lift during our tests.
This tandem stroller comes with independently reclining seats for maximum comfort. Its canopy is large and offers UPF 50 protection and includes an open view for easy monitoring. We'd like to see the canopy ventilated to allow for more airflow, though. We weren't a fan of the fact the fact that the cup holder is extremely high on the frame. You'll have to bend down to reach it.
In our tipping test in our tipping-test, the Jeep fell over at a 39-degree angle, which is higher than average for the double pram. It's heavier than the average and has more storage space for the price. The handles and seats are also well-padded.
This stroller is multi-functional and features three modes. It can be used as a cart (for things), jogger mode (with two 5-point safety belts for kids) or car seat mode. It can accommodate one car seat for infants, however, pediatricians recommend waiting until your child is 6 months old before jogging with them. They should also be 1 year old before letting them go on rough terrain. It is available in black and comes with a lifetime warranty.
