Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using a specialized app to save your home's maps, set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms while an obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running into furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These are essential features to have in my house, stuffed with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is loaded with features. It's able to mop and sweep in one session and can raise its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pets plants, small objects.

The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is higher than any robot vacuum [click this link now] we have test so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad of more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has an automatic vacuum and mop robot mop lifting system that will raise the pad as it moves from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

In addition it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can just put it away and forget about it, only having to change the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal mop and vac settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being the fact that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting choice for anyone looking to ditch their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combination. The premium price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It has an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is among the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed well throughout the home. It removed 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the tank with water to use to mop and also dry mop pads. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads that are sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium price tag and extensive functionality I would highly recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a tighter budget, I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while enjoying clean hands at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could buy, its high cost and constant maintenance will make it more of a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess, then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It has a mop with a roller that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. While it spins, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being then pumped into a larger storage canister. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done using the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you decide to choose to use this feature you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, just like the majority of robots. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests, but this may be improved as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before it has to return to its dock, and the vacuum mop cleaner robot's extreme suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start a full map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've set up. There are a number of mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the area.

The Qrevo did well in our tests, just as all Roborock models we've evaluated. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat manner. The 'Normal" pathing setting covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify hazards such as thick carpets, but it may not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option, which could be a problem for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: The app offers an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of each session. You can use the mopping features of the autonomous vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help this robot make its clean better than its competitors with lower prices.
