BMW Ghost Immobiliser

The Ghost uses CAN data bus to communicate with your vehicle. This prevents thieves from putting in an additional key or replacing the ECU to bypass your security system as it requires a valid PIN code to begin the engine.

Our BMW ghost immobiliser is a unique next-generation device that does not require cutting OEM wires or adding aftermarket alarms and key fobs. It is connected to your BMW's CAN network and is programmed with an encrypted, secure PIN code that is accessed using buttons installed in your car. This allows you to enter the key sequences which aren't available in the normal media menus. For instance, volume up/down or source, cruise control, air conditioning, etc. The PIN can be between 4 and 20 characters, making it difficult for thieves to guess.

We can also add to the system the ability to use a service/valet feature. This mode is activated when your vehicle is being maintained so that the Ghost is away from the garage. You can activate this mode by pressing the service button five times on your infotainment unit (the system will flash in confirmation) and the Ghost will automatically arm itself when you return.

Service Mode / Valet Mode

This lets you start the vehicle with your keys, but stops the engine from starting again until the correct code is entered. This is a great option for those who need to hand their cars over to valet businesses or other trusted friends and family members. This allows you to take your car to the garage for servicing, or other maintenance. without worrying about it being modified by an expert mechanic while you are waiting.

Once the service/valet mode is activated and enabled, your BMW is unable to drive once it is started. This prevents anyone else from driving the vehicle while you are away. Once you return, the vehicle will revert to normal and prevent it from being damaged or stolen.

The Ghost can be fitted to any BMW. All you need are the correct keys since the device doesn't utilize the original remotes, but can be used in conjunction with them. Anti-Hijack

You can also track your vehicle's location on an interactive map on your smartphone.

The ghost autowatch immobiliser can be fitted under the dashboard or within the center console. It is completely concealed and tamperproof and does not require any extra wiring. The device is connected to the vehicles CAN Data Network (similar to an Ethernet cable) and a personalised PIN code is embedded into it. The pin code has to be entered before the vehicle is started.
