Seats
The majority of 3 wheel double buggies start life as single pushchairs. You'll also see that some models will allow you to include a ride-onboard for older children who would like to walk but require some help.

Suspension
The quality of the suspension in a
3 wheeler pushchair off road wheel double buggy is essential to how it is easy for you and your baby to push. It is essential to have a smooth ride, because babies can feel every bump in the road. This is particularly relevant if you drive on rough terrain, such as grass or unpaved roads. Some models come with locking front tires that assist in maneuvering and getting over obstacles like curbs.
Some models have air-filled tyres that are ideal for all-terrain riding, but they can be prone punctures. Make sure you keep a spare set of tyres inside the trunk. Certain models come with gel-filled or foam-filled tyres which are designed to absorb bumps. They can be less likely to puncture, however they might cause discomfort for your child if they choose to jog.

Folding
A 3-wheel double buggy can fold very easily to be stored. You can find options that fold flat and then stand up (as when they were in a pushchair) and also those that pop open to reveal an umbrella-style fold, with a hand-operated brake. In general, the more wheels a buggy comes with the more able it will be to handle over rough terrain. This is particularly relevant if the wheels are larger than average - this will give you more stability and reduce the chance that your children will tip or flip over.
