The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save your home's maps and create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

A feature to avoid obstacles prevents it from running over furniture, wires or even stray toys. These features are vital for my home filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in a single session, and it can even raise its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from getting too damp. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pets, plants, and other small objects.

The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is more than any vacuum we've tested so far. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it from becoming stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be washed and dried in the dock and the dust container is automatically empty and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and return to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being the fact that it's costly. The sheer amount of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuums that mop vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The high price is justified by the powerful features, such as a huge vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without tangling. The mops were also great in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The dock empties its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping and dry its mop pads for you. It also features a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops I've test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads sold separately will also require replacement every few months.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a tighter budget, I suggest an easier model that allows you to save money while still enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could purchase however, its price and ongoing maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself and makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire length of the bot and is continuously dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. When it turns, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and dumped into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water and handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

As with most robot vacuums and mop combinations like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. It must be filled with clean water, however this is simple to do in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock should you prefer the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you choose this feature, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaners.

Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room, and it easily navigated around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with longer piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers lots of features at a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner, but it still has some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot vacuums best's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized fashion. Its "Normal" pathing option covers a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, but it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers like thick carpets however it won't always recognize smaller things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgThe one glaring flaw of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option, which could be an issue for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot vacuum cleaner best. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up", at the end of each session. The vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that remained after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its competitors with lower prices.
