The suction motor's 8,000pa makes short work of picking up dirt, crumbs and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it encounters rugs and the dual side brushes help draw out debris from corners.

The mopping performance is less impressive, though not by much. The mop rotates at a high rate and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scrubbing up dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms protrude out a bit more than other robots, which is useful to get into tight corners and along baseboards. Those same front arms can be used to sweep up larger debris, like broken toys or books.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't produce as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a exclusive cleaning solution for mopping and is separate from the vacuum. It is simple to install, and it works well. However, if you are buying this robot cleaner vacuum for mopping it is important to be aware of this.
