Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using a specialized app to save the maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are essential in my house, which is full of toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pets, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is the highest power of any other robot vacuum we've examined so far. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which will lift the pad when it goes from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.
It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to go away from their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its price is justified by its robust features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It also has a smart, app-enabled controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the most powerful
robotic cleaner and mop vacuums and mop combos on the market. In my testing it performed very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of debris from all floor types and managing to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag for dirt, then refills the tank with water to use to mop and also dry mop pads. It also has an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned as well as the water and dust tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will require replacement every few months.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey price tag and extensive functionality I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while enjoying clean hands at home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the
best robot vacuum and mop robot mop and vacuum you could buy however, its price and ongoing maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up is a mighty suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself while moving and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the bot and is continuously filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and then pumped into a larger storage container. The tank onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaners.
Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map the space and was able to navigate around furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning up a significant portion of a space before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is dense, and offers various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas mapped by this device or select individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. There are a number of mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the space.
The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is efficient by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat way. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, with no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too although it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick however it won't always detect small things like rug tassels or electrical wires.
The machine has a major issue: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: The app offers an option that allows you to "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you utilize the mopping feature of the vacuum to get rid of the last remnants of dust and debris that you've left behind from the vacuuming. This is a great feature that can help this
best robot vacuum cleaner and mop clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
