What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds a brand new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no benefit in terms of gameplay other than making it easier to purchase upgrades.

Increases the effectiveness of

There are a variety of enhancements that can be obtained with an upgrader. These can include stats and additional bonuses. These bonuses can be utilized on weapons, armor and trinkets. They can be used to enhance the abilities of an individual, or they can be used to add an element of variety to an existing build.

Some upgrades also provide a secondary random boost in addition to stat increases. These boosts can be quite valuable and should be considered when deciding what items to upgrade. Certain boosts can only be used in certain designs (such the Whistan's Shield in FB Sorcs) While others are valuable to collectors.

Some items have a built-in boos which is less beneficial when upgraded. For instance the Goldwrap has an extra potion slots. These are usually upgraded to increase the value of the perfect or nearly perfect item.

Costs

Upgrades come with a few associated costs. The first is the cost to perform the upgrade. The cost is based on the item upgrades's new ilvl and the number of perks it receives and is often expensive. It is also costly to upgrade item an item to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).

The second is the cost of the materials needed to upgrade. These are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or specific Mists Of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor Quests. The amount of these items needed can be found in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

It takes time to upgrade an item. Depending on the size of the upgrade, it can take anywhere from 8 to 12 hours. The base stats of the upgraded item are calculated based upon its new ilvl and other characteristics. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other important stats. In some cases, an upgrade can grant additional perks. These perks are available on a table.

Rarely, the new advantages acquired will cost more than one perk slot to acquire In these cases the upgrade will replace the perks with the highest cost. Occasionally, the upgrader will make other adjustments to an item, like changing its weapon damage type or removing or adding an unwieldy or operational property. These modifications are based on an item's ilvl and may require special materials, for instance Adamantine.

Success Rate

The upgrade of an item is based on chance. Like any random system there is a chance that it won't work. However, there are some things which can improve the chance of success. This includes using an item called an Upgrade Pity or the addition of extra materials to the upgrade.

The Upgrade Pity can be bought through the NPC for crafting in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of a successful upgrade by an amount. It's similar to the "luck bonus" that certain items provide, but it is more reliable. It can be added to any weapon or armor, and can be used up to three times.

It is also possible to add a variety of additional items to the upgrade, increasing its chance of success. These are displayed in a separate window, above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is displayed directly above the + button.

A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version can be used to boost the likelihood of an upgrade succeeding. This item can be useful if your weapon or piece is near or has reached the top level of its tier. This Best Item Upgrader allows you to upgrade the equipment to the next tier without the risk of breaking.

If an upgrade is unsuccessful it will be restored to its original condition. This is usually an error, but it can also be a downgrade. Keep an upgrade in reserve until you are nearing the maximum level for an item.

Kafra offers a variety of items that can be used to increase the chances of an upgrade succeeding. You can increase your chances of success by upgrading your equipment repeatedly using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. Similarly, enhancing the chance to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will increase the chance of success.

Failure Rate

The upgrader for an item allows the player to add an additional slot in their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enhancement or enchantment to an item. It is important to remember that not all items are upgradeable. The enchantment and upgrade rate depends on the item's rank. The higher the rank, the more Zen and items you'll require to upgrade it.
