A special item can be used to transform certain Pokemon. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc, and is often given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.

Upgrade components

They provide fewer bonuses than other kinds of upgrade component. Infusions can be used on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, while enhancements can be used on some back equipment that has been ascended. Most upgrade components can be replaced if they are inserted into an item upgrader mod, however doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and then reinserted.

Insignias and enchantments will show their names on the item's hover display, while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their name to the end of the equipment's name (e.g., a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to view and insert these special characters along with regular glyphs like em dashes, en dashes registered trademark symbols and characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph gives a primary stat boost for the character. It also comes with up to four Secondary Stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase that is multiplied when other bonuses have been applied, with the exception of Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.

Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the item upgrader kit you have selected. Be aware that only the correct type of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for and every weapon, jewelry or armor piece can have distinct sets of Glyphs.

You can increase the level of Glyphs by working through Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more challenging the dungeon, the greater the amount of Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph reaches level 15 it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

After a Glyph reaches the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will give its stated benefit and increase the number of nodes in its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed where they will benefit your building the most. This is why you should consider Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. The glyphs that are rare could offer double bonuses when certain conditions are met, so they're worth looking out for.

Click the cycle widget to change the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs further using an option below "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs; Math Symbols reduces the choices to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves establishing an account on a different account to increase your chances of obtaining the character or weapon you'd like. It can aid in your progress to higher levels or to gain better loot, like an improved weapon for your current character. A lot of players will reroll until the character they want is available, regardless of ability. It could be that they like the design or the personality of the character.

When you reroll, it is important to ensure that the changes you are making are clean. This means you should check locally that the patch passes the pre-commit tests and conduct a core development test. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue using plain diff (see What about an interdiff? ).

Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, based on your luck. To cut down on time, avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this time. Also, avoid repeating quests that can be completed later on in the game. This can save time and energy.

Sets

A set is an object collection with 2 common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets are used for operations such as intersection, union, and distinction.

Upgrades make a set better than it was before. This means that the weapon and armor will have a higher defense value and less strength requirements.

Upgrades are a great way to bring popular single-set items to level with their higher-tiered set counterparts. For instance upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to an Elite Spired Helm can increase the defense from 217 to 321 and reduces the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.

It's important to remember that not all items in the set can be upgraded. Certain sets, such as the FB Sorc Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzler staff, are already exceptional in their own right and don't need upgrading. Certain items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are used frequently may be benefited by an upgrade to boost their value. For these types of items, it could be worth the extra cost to upgrade them.
