Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you buy a new item upgrader, like a weapon, armor or ring. This replaces the item with another item of the same type however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original item's level and any money wasted won't get compensated.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of the equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment into three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To create them, you need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next successful result is repeated. This lets you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

During the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

After choosing the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item upgrading will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and does not affect the item's longevity. It's an excellent choice for those who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want to spend a lot of money. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. However, there are many ways to acquire them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets you increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will receive a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.

Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can add a piece of equipment to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.

Once an item reaches its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have discounts.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the item upgrader mod type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide more effects or an improved level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" however, increases weapon damage.

Certain items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but for the fact that it allows players to get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will add an item in your inventory when you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
