Recycled items
Many of the items we use daily are recyclable, including glass, paper aluminum, plastics and paper. Glass bottles, aluminum cans and jars are recyclable. Metals like aluminum, tin and steel can also be recycled, as well as some metal objects. Plastics like ice cream containers and soda cans are recyclable, as well as some plastic bags. Textiles such as clothing and shoes can be recycled however they aren't as common as other items.
The items you shouldn't include in your recycling bin include windows glass panes and wire hangers. These are not accepted by curbside recycling programs and should be brought to an event or facility that collects household hazardous waste. You should also not recycle construction materials, paint or fertilizers and pesticides in their containers, as they can be dangerous to the environment and the health of your family members.
