World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

For example an Item Upgrader Mod with the upgrade template that ends in % will gain 3damage to attack each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the current level of the item. The cost increases as the item level rises.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into weapons, armor, and trinkets to give an extra stat boost or impact while they're being used. They can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors or trading with other players or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot to accommodate them; the item must have been at a minimum upgraded to blue level in order for the component to be used. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a type of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or Ascended equipment, as well other items that are not ascended. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging gear that is ascended or by completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade can have a prefix or suffix, modifying the name of the equipment with which it is used (for examplefor example 'Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players to make stronger versions of the equipment with the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than is required to achieve the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A boost upgrade is a way to alter the defense or attack characteristics of a weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist the upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. They can also be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear, or by buying them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals each.

Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-tier version of the item will be revealed at the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their equipment even in the event that they don't know how much it will be improved after a reset.

The process of upgrading an item can be expensive, and it is possible that the item will become obsolete, or even break, when the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed if the upgrade items fails. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items that can double or even eliminate the possibility of failure, and a few upgrades that give an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade parts that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the effectiveness of all nodes in the area around them, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible up to 15 levels.

In the final game you'll find that the Best item upgrade way to enhance your gear is to place Glyphs. They are the only upgrade item component that can be upgraded directly to level 15 and offer a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes much faster.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions are the most popular. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph of the same rank, or a higher rank, which will boost the value of the glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use and also through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs, you will have to attach them to your equipment. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph, this will either be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs boost all nodes connected to them, therefore it is Best item upgrader to place Glyphs in key spots on the Graph. This will increase the impact. Druids for instance should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may be able to place them near their primary damage nodes.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to increase the performance of certain items by placing upgraded components inside them. This is referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item has a level that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items may be leveled up to a maximum of 385. Each level of item requires various components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed earns some Technology Points. These points can be used to upgrade the item. Once enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item, the base item is replaced with a new item of the same kind. The same armor can be transformed into the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have a unique bonus. This could be a drawback in that it could make the Best item upgrader more expensive, even if you don't require it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough reroll tokens to be able to do this. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This is a good option for certain items, however it's not something that should be repeated often, as it can use up many resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled multiple times which increases their value and giving players the ability to alter their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it gives an increase in power if the player is repeatedly in or exits water. It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the maximum roll by an increment of 10. This item can be very valuable in PvP, as an item that is properly rolled it could be worth between 20 and 50 times its value if it is not upgraded.

Requirements

The upgrade of items allows players to increase the level of their available equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by presenting the appropriate items and currency to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase the base defense of the piece, whereas upgrading weapon equipment will increase the base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity to match the requirements of the upgraded equipment.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Each time you upgrade an object it is at risk of failing. The failure rate increases as you move beyond the maximum number. Failures can cause the item to revert to its initial state, requiring the player to pay more for materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the highest number of upgrades.

If an item isn't upgraded the experience bar on its growth bar will reset to zero. In addition, the item will lose any gained bonuses such as crit chance, attack damage, as well as all additional effects associated with that effect (for instance, an increase in heal over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player may continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that should a weapon gain an increase in crit chance it will be applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute called Slots is now added to the item definition and the value is calculated every time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost for upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a standard equipment item may have five upgrades, each costing 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items will have an incredibly lower cost for each upgrade.

Premium items could require different upgrades than normal equipment. For instance they might require less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. Regardless, the player must visit the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the costs listed above.
