Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations used.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired like armor, weapon, or ring. This replaces the item with an identical item and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give players additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To make them, you require a higher level reroll token. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space until the next success is rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the
item level upgrade. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to get an advantage in combat without straining their bank account. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto the new gear.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several ways to acquire the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can also take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an
item upgrader is reached.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be used, as well as an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. Once the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have discounts.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer an added bonus or effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this could ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items enable players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an
Best item upgrade vary depending on its type, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade tokens.
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an item, it cannot be removed and replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20% chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get a perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display an open window that displays the necessary requirements. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor), the level of the
Item Upgrader Mod as well as the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
