Cheap Single Pushchair Single Pushchairs
If you're on a budget and don't require a stroller that can double as a car seat carrier The Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop friendly.
It's easy to push, and it feels solid when you are traversing kerbs and woodland trails. It's also a breeze to fold.
1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the most lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, thanks to its super nimble manoeuvrability and foldable design that can be tucked away in aeroplane overhead luggage. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels made from Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.
The bent fabric bassinet, the base YOYO2 and 6+ months colour pack combine to create a stylish pushchair with a delicate elegant look. The base frame alone weighs less than a kilo and is so light you can easily lift it from the box (and do it with one hand).
The hood, as an example snaps onto the YOYO2 with a reassuring manner. It is machine washable at 30deg which helps prevent stains caused by smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as prams. It can also be converted into a stroller after 6 months using the YOYO connect other chassis.
2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents who want a versatile stroller wagon. It transforms from a stroller into a wagon by simply flipping the handle, which means parents can pick which mode they prefer on their trip. The wagon can be used by one or two kids from 6 months old to 5 years, and it has a wide storage basket for all of your on-the-go needs.
The Xplore also comes with two canopies that turn from front to back, ensuring ample sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This isn't ideal for long drives or napping.
The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, but it does not flex like other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the other models and does not secure when folded. It is easy to move however, and it can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.
3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and size folded which means it's lightweight,
small single stroller when collapsed and easy to put into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.
It performed better in our push and turn test than most of the other strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the most compact we tested, with only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger sunshades.
It took us under 3 minutes to assemble the Delta with a manual. All of the components required tools. However, it is missing certain essential features that we believe you should consider non-negotiable in a double stroller for example, a larger basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is the latest model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is billed as an urban travel system. It is designed to take infants from birth until approximately 3.5 years old, and can be converted between a seat and a carrycot by just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and a reversible car seat.
It's a breeze to manoeuvre and the one-hand recline of the seat and the super large shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child in and out of the seat quickly. The narrow pushchair sailed through all day bumps and doorways with ease.
The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position and can also swivel. This is useful for navigating through rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel during our walk on a stony path. It handled the situation well, even though it felt slightly rougher.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2
Baby Jogger is famous for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain jogging pushchairs, but they also have a wide selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is simple to use and folds down small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.
It is heavier than the other strollers we tested, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber, it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains, and even with two children, a shopping bag and other things.
Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be removed to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers' faces.
It's not a lot of storage space, but it does have a big basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag and plenty of food items. It can also be connected with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to take a stroller on the move.
