What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds a new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager is a cost of 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no other benefit to the game, aside from making it easier to purchase upgrades.

Boosts

The process of upgrading an item is an intricate process that requires time. It could take as long as 8 hours, depending on the magnitude of the upgrade. The stats that are the base of the upgraded item are calculated based upon its new ilvl and other characteristics. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, as well as other important statistics. In certain cases upgrades can provide additional perks. Another method to increase the chance of a successful upgrade is to use an Best Item upgrader known as the Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is useful in the event that you have an item of equipment that has reached the maximum level for its tier, or is close to it. This item allows you to upgrade the equipment to the next tier without risking its breaking.

If an upgrade is unsuccessful the upgrade will be reversed to its original state. This is usually a downgrade, but can also be an upgrade. You should save an upgrade until you're close to the maximum level for an item.
