The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It's not able navigate stairs as well as some competitors, either and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.

Although it doesn't provide as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those seeking a great all-round mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the price tag.

But if you want to save some money, or just don't care about the limitations of this machine There are many alternatives available with a wide range of eufy models priced considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with more features, including the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and a better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors and low and high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy, a Anker company has a proven track record of making robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpeted flooring, and a mopping function at an affordable price. It's easy to set up, just snap on one of the side brushes, turn it on and connect the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock near an electrical outlet and plenty of room for it to move, however.

The G30 is a tiny device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, meaning it will fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It is sleek with a black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral fashion over two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.
