What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?
Transparent device that evolves certain Pokemon species. It was produced by Silph Co.
The item upgrader adds a new widget at the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to buy upgrades.
It boosts
With an upgrader for items you can enjoy numerous bonuses. These can include stats and bonus bonuses. These bonuses can be utilized on armor, weapons and trinkets. They can be used to enhance a character's abilities or to add a new element of variety to their character.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their gear by paying currency to an upgrader for their item. This system was introduced in Mists of Pandaria and was expanded with the introduction of Warlords of Draenor. It's a good way to increase the level of your equipment, allowing you bypass the monotonous grind of questing and avoid numerous wipes in Mythic+ dungeons.
When an item is upgraded the type of item it is upgraded to. When upgrading a normal item, it will result in an item that is Exceptional, while upgrading an item that is Exceptional will result in an elite version of the same base item. The
item upgrader mod will be able to keep its previous upgrade stats, but will also receive an additional bonus from its new base type. This bonus will be randomly chosen from the following categories: a chance to obtain a weapon with an increased damage range, a chance to obtain an enhanced reload speed or a chance to gain an improved defense roll.
The amount of upgrades you do will determine the amount of extras you get. Each upgrade boosts the extras in question by a factor of one, up to a maximum of three. Each upgrade will also increase the stats in the main menu by +1.
In addition to the stat boosts certain upgrades can also give a random secondary boost. These boosts can be very valuable and should be considered when deciding which items to upgrade. Some boosts are suitable for specific builds (such as Whistan's shield for FB sorcs) while others can bring a great deal of value to specific collectors.
Certain items come with inherent boos that are less effective when upgraded, for example the Goldwrap which provides additional slots for potion. These are usually upgraded to add value to an item that is perfect or close to being perfect.
Costs
There are a few expenses associated with
item upgrades. The first is the cost of performing the upgrade. The cost is based on the item's new ilvl and the amount of perks it receives and is often expensive. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) are costly.
The second is the cost of the items needed to upgrade. These items are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons, or specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor Quests. These materials can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.
The process of upgrading an item is complicated and requires time. It can take 8 hours, depending on the size of an upgrade. The base stats of an upgraded
item upgrading are calculated based upon its new ilvl and other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important stats. In certain cases an upgrade may grant additional perks. These perks are offered on a table.
In rare cases, the upgrade will only replace the highest-costing benefits. Sometimes, the upgrader will make other adjustments to an item, like changing the damage type of a weapon or adding or removing an unwieldy or operative property. The cost for these modifications is determined by the new ilvl of the item, and it may require a special substance like an adamantine alloy.
Success Rate
Item upgrades are based on the chance of success, and as with any random system there is an opportunity that the upgrade won't be successful. However, there are a few factors that can increase the odds of success. This includes using an Upgrade Pity or the addition additional materials to your upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity can be bought from the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of a successful upgrade by some percentage. It's similar to the "luck bonus" that some items offer however it is more solid. This can be added to any weapons or armor and can be used three times.
It is also possible to add a range of additional elements to the upgrade, thereby increasing its chances of success. They are displayed in a window above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is displayed directly above the + button.
Another way to increase the chances of an upgrade achieving success is to use an item called the Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is beneficial when you own an item of equipment that has reached the maximum level for its tier or is close to it. It will let you upgrade the equipment to the next level without having to worry about it breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful, the system will be restored to its original state. This is typically a break, but could also be a downgrade. It is a good idea to save an upgrade for when you're near the maximum level of an
item upgrader mod, and then use it as an emergency.
There are a variety of items available in the Kafra shop that can be used to increase the chances of an upgrade succeeding. For instance upgrading an equipment using HD Oridecon or HD Elunium multiple times will provide you with more chance of success. In the same way, increasing the likelihood to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will also increase the chance of success.
Failure Rate
The upgrader for items allows players to add an extra slot to their equipment. The slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enchantment. It is important to remember that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an item will determine the speed at which it can be upgraded and enchanted. The higher the item's rank, the more Zeny and items are required to upgrade it.
This system can be quite expensive, especially for high-level gear. It can cost upwards of 100,000 z and 100 Carnium to upgrade a weapon or armor. As you advance in rank, your success rate decreases. However, you can make use of cash shop items to increase the chance of upgrading an item efficiently.
Normal Upgrade is a standard upgrade that is only used on armor, weapons and bikes. It utilizes different core grades depending on the type of item. Most commonly, lower grade items will require low grade cores, while higher grade items will require more expensive cores.
You must have the correct number of cores before you can perform an upgrade normally. Click the button next the item you wish to upgrade once you've got the cores. The upgrade window will show a percentage indicator of your chances of success. The percentage is based on the upgrade level of the item and the core type you have selected.
You can also select a safeguard for your item which will safeguard the item in case of failure. This protection isn't free, but it will cost less than a new item. The safeguard can be used once per upgrade, and will not expire unless it is re-used.
The interface for the item upgrader can be a bit confusing, but it is not difficult to navigate. The main menu is visible on the left and the upgrade window is located on the right. The arrows to the left of the UI represent the various stages of the upgrade process. If you're not certain what you're doing, click the question mark icon for help. The upgrade could take five minutes.
