World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses

The upgrade to an item is an enchantment that boosts the stats of a specific armor or weapons. This includes secondary stats like Leech and Speed.

A special evolution item that allows Porygon to transform into Porygon2. This item can be found at Pokestops or Gyms.

Universal upgrades are able to be used on any type of gear and offer fewer benefits than other components that are equipment type specific.

Leveling

The upgrade system lets players improve items by increasing their level. The item's "guaranteed bonuses" are also enhanced by the increase in level. Every level increase increases the stats of the Item Upgrader Kit by 3 and also adds an additional bonus based on the tier of the item. These extras can vary from a +1 bonus to +3 bonus to random buffs or debuffs.

Each item can be upgraded a certain amount of times. After the upgrade, the item can be transferred into a higher-tiered item that is of equal or greater value.

This method is beneficial for players who want to purchase equipment with a certain level of stats prior to purchasing the new item upgrading. The transfer system is simple to use and lets players avoid wasting upgrade materials.

Upgrade materials are gathered as the player clears their cache of content. They are used to improve or replace an item. Each item requires a particular type of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. When an item upgrades is upgraded, the materials are renamed. For example, Stone Fragments becomes Stones and Harmony Shards becomes Life Shards.

Upgrades to items are essential to improve the performance of a character, but it is important to think about the cost prior to making any changes. The cost of upgrading an item could be quite a bit of gold which could have been better spent on new equipment. This is why it is recommended to upgrade only the most important items in any given scenario.

This typically means upgrading the weapon first, then the legs and chest and finally the helm. If the player is able to afford it then upgrading trinkets should be done in this stage to increase their potential to trigger. For example, a high-end Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading due to the increased damage from its procs. However, some trinkets are not worth upgrading in the absence of a significant upgrade in a particular build. This is especially true of the breakpoint gear that is used for high-value stats like IAS or FHR.

Rerolling

Rerolling is a technique that lets players change the stats of a weapon, armor, or ring, depending on the type. It can be used to give new bonuses or replace existing ones. It can also be used to change the item upgrading's power base.

Rerolling is beneficial to boost your power in the early stages of the game, it's not a mandatory element of the game. Once you've reached your goal of upgrading to level 6, it's usually better to take a step back and locate the most powerful upgrades you can, or save for the next group of items. This will ensure that you have a strong roster when you reach your level 9 upgrade goal.

The rerolling system is very similar to the system of leveling up. Reroll tokens can be used to take away any Level Up option and replace it with another. Reroll tokens like Level Up do not reset the item's level. This means that, when you reroll an upgraded item, it will not be at the same level, and will not have its bonus.

Players can also use an additional mechanic, Eliminate, which will remove any Level Up option they have on their weapons or equipment. This is helpful in the event that you have a poor gacha result or want to roll a five-star unit. You will need to create an account from scratch or sign up via social media.

Similarly, there is an Occultist in each town which can be visited to alter a weapon's or armor's Aspects, stats, or attributes. This is helpful if you have a five-star epic unit you'd like to improve or an elite four-star character you're struggling with.

Rerolling tokens can be obtained through completing certain quests. These can be bought from the Occultist at 300 gold or in holozons, which are dropped in certain dungeons. You can reroll any armor, weapon, or ring simply by moving the icon on the page of your unit and locking the lock to the desired slot.

Sets

A set is a group of items that are alike in some way. You use sets every day like a dozen eggs or a group of friends. They are helpful because they help you organize things, and also operations like intersection, union and difference help you to manage them effectively. Sets are used in many different ways, ranging from organizing music on a playlist, to classifying students based on their grades.

In Nioh the game, Sets are used to create special effects when players wear armor from a specific armor set. These bonuses are known as Set Bonuses and are superior to Effects. While it isn't explained why the armor sets must be worn together to create these effects they are a good method to alter the game when playing the game. The armor sets that come with Set Bonuses can be found in many locations in Hyrule including the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.

Each piece of equipment in the Set includes a set of Set Bonuses associated with it. You can find out which ones these are by hovering over the item and examining the tooltip at the bottom. Set Bonuses are presented in a box with the red border.

Certain Set Bonuses are exclusive to a particular piece of equipment. For instance, if have the complete Phantom Armor set you will receive +8 defense (compared to the standard +3 defense offered by most equipment). Other sets can only be obtained through certain quests or purchasing them at the Auction House.

It is also possible to get Set Bonuses on several pieces of equipment at the same time. If you own the complete Kestra's Descent Set and the corresponding parts of Twinblade of Shadow, you will receive the version with the + set's bonus if you soul match the two sets.

Unlike Effects which change every time you upgrade them Set Bonuses remain the same, even when the pieces of equipment they are connected to rise. If an item is exemplared to be too low, then the set bonus won't work.

Set bonuses

Set bonuses are unique effects that can appear on a set of equipment which can provide a boost in battle. They grant a specific amount of a particular type of stat, like weapon damage, or defenses, or resistances. They do not stack, however; only one of them will be active at any time. The amount of a stat is determined by how many pieces of the set have been used which means you can have three chests, one armour, and four weapons, for instance, but only the one with the most bonus will benefit you.

They typically increase the primary stat, but some increase secondary stats too. Defence bonuses boost three defensive positions and two types of defense. For instance a five-piece Hundings Rage set will give you 400 defenses in your gear. This is a significant boost in the gear you use as a melee.

This is a great feature, and it appears to be among the more popular in the game. At present, only a handful of sets of gear have set bonuses, and they are only available in the Test Realm, but expect this number to increase once the update is live. For example, the incredibly popular 7 school-specific Dragoon's gear will be getting its bonus added to it when the update goes live.

While Set Bonuses do not stack within sets, they do stack with other sets. This is a great option for players looking to mix sets in the most efficient way. However, it does require some planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an item upgrading of equipment, so you must be cautious when placing them.

It is important to note that the amount of a set's bonus will not change even if your exemplar is more than three levels below the minimum required for an enhancement. This rule is not applicable to purple (Very rare) Sets PvP Sets, Sets for PvP and Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses will be in effect regardless of the exemplar level.
