Written Test
Don't overlook the importance of the written test. You could spend the majority of your time studying to pass the road test. The test will contain questions about topics like road signs, driving regulations, and rules. To pass the test, you will need to answer 18 multiple-choice question.
Before taking the test ensure that you've read and memorized the driver's handbook (also called "driver's manual"). You can also take online practice tests to test your understanding. They are a great method to see what the actual test will be like and you can go back to review the questions that you missed.
An early start to your testing center is a great idea, even if there is no appointment. You'll save time and effort by not having to wait in the waiting room and you can also cram to take a final test. Be aware that the test will be given a specific time limit. If you're unsure of the correct answer to a specific question, don't answer it rather than answering it incorrectly. If you get lots of Wrong answers, you'll be unable to pass the test.
Be sure to have your registration card, proofs of insurance and, if required an inspection sticker from the state on your vehicle prior to you take the test. The examiner will check the brakes, horns and mirrors, as well as whether or not all of them are working.
Road Test
