According to the report Miss Kelly suffered from a number of mental health issues, such as bipolar disorder, bulimia, and anorexia. She was also victimized by her husband and was an addict to drugs. Depression, anxiety, and stress made her suffer more. She was also diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder and schizoaffective disorders.

Elayaperumal claims Medtronic discriminated against him intentionally because of his race or national origin. He claims that his poor performance review in June of 2000 as well as the decision not to give him certain projects assignments were influenced by racism.
