1. Smeg BCC02
Designed by Milan-based firm Deep Design, this sleek compact machine blends the brand's inimitable retro style with modern technology. This machine handles all steps of the coffee-making procedure starting from grinding beans, tamping into a puck and making milk into a texturing, before dispensing the right amount.
The machine also features an attractive brushed aluminum front and comes in a variety of black, red or taupe, meaning it'll easily fit into most kitchen designs. The machine is not without faults, however. Most reviewers found that it was expensive for a cup to bean maker (and does not come with the milk pitcher).
However, there were plenty of glowing reviews of the quality of the coffee and the ease of using this machine. The digital display gives information and step-bystep instructions throughout the entire brewing process which will allow you to make your drink perfect every time. It will even alert you to alter the grind size if not quite right. It's like having a personal barista at home (minus Harry Potter's cloak of invisibility and Elon Musk's rocket-building expertise).
This model is ideal for those who like milky drinks. The steam wand can be adjusted up and down to fit a variety of drinking vessels, excluding Viking drinking horns. We were also awed by the speed and efficiency in the way that the frothing was performed. It produces a delicious, full-flavoured espresso with a great crema.
The BCC02 is an excellent all-rounder. It's quiet and efficient, and it provides excellent value for money at the current price of PS499. Its only real drawback is that it does not offer the same level of customization as some of the other bean to cups we've tested. Its pump has 15 bars instead of the usual 19 bars. This is not as effective for making high-quality espressos. This is a great machine for those who like their coffee dark and strong. Click here to see Lavazza's fantastic deal.

Users have also been amazed by the speed of the machine. They have reported that it is able to produce their drinks far quicker than other machines they have used. The machine also alerts you if any of its hoppers are almost empty. This way, you won't run out of your favorite drink.
The only thing that could be a disadvantage for certain people is the price. This machine is priced at PS999. It's still cheaper than similar Jura machines that have similar features.
The Barista TS Smart is backed by a an extensive warranty that provides two years of coverage. This is a longer warranty than the standard one-year guarantee. It is a sign of confidence on behalf of the manufacturer. The machine includes an cleaning tablet, as well as a descaler. This makes it easy to maintain the machine.
