Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the power of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.
For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon, or ring. The
item level upgrade is replaced with another of the same kind, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item, for example increasing its damage.
Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by melee and weapons while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To create them, you need a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next Success is being rerolled. This allows you to not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's level, and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the durability of the item. It's an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want to strain their wallets. Moreover players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. There are several methods to get them. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can also take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will receive a higher level. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can add an item to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. Also, when an
item level upgrade is on a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
upgrade item components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade Tokens.
The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further enhance the stats of the item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve an exact roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any
item upgrader NPC.
