What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The second is the cost of the materials required for an upgrade. The items used for upgrades are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21+) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable through completing specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). These materials can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.

Upgrades to an item are an intricate process that requires time. It can take 8 hours depending on the size of an upgrade. The stats that are the base of the upgraded item are calculated based on its new ilvl and other characteristics. This calculation determines the latest Armor Class bonus, damage dice, as well as other important statistics. In some cases the upgrade can grant additional perks that can be selected from a list of available benefits.

In rare cases, the upgrade will replace only the most expensive perks. The upgrader can also make other modifications to the item, like changing the type of damage it deals to its weapon or removing an operative or unwieldy feature. Success Rate

It is also possible to add a number of additional items to the upgrade, thereby increasing its chances of success. These materials are displayed in a separate window above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is displayed directly above the + button.

Another method to increase the chance of an upgrade achieving success is to use an item known as Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it.
