WoW Item Upgrades
Item upgrades--more commonly known as "upping"--are an enchantment and item that can be put on armor and weapons and increase their effectiveness. These upgrade items,

A perfectly rolled version of this armor is highly prized in the melee PvP community for its ability to limit the amount of damage a weapon can cause.
Type-restricted upgrades
The process of upgrading is an essential part of the crafting process. They can enhance an item's stats, make it stronger or weaker and even provide a bonus effect. They also affect the item's appearance. Certain upgrades are universal, while others have rules specific to weapons and armor. Making the wrong upgrade can ruin an otherwise excellent weapon, and could even render it ineffective.
As a rule, you can only upgrade an item of equipment to the level of its top-level counterpart. You can only upgrade helms to the highest level. Weapons can be upgraded up to the equivalent of a sword. This does not increase the weapon's ability to deal damage and can reduce its trade value.
To upgrade an item you must spend flightstones and crests. The amount of both depends on the item level and slot. For instance upgrading to a sword will cost more flightstones than upgrading a cloak or bracers. There are also discounts on the number of crests and flightstones needed to upgrade an

The diamond-shaped indicator on the item is filled up when it's upgraded. Each step increases the item's Tier level one-third. Tier 3 is the highest level. It may take different upgrades to reach this level, based on the item. It is important to note that any processes that mount a disk should not be run during an upgrade. Additionally, you should ensure that the upgraded disk is not used as a system disk.
Enchantment allows you to transform white or Common items to blue or rare ones. It can be done at Eleanor's Enchantment Shop in the Capital District. This method does not add gems or rune slots to the equipment however it does alter the size of the equipment. It increases the size of the equipment by the size of a creature 2 categories smaller, for instance, a Blaster Pistol is deemed small, while a Stormtrooper Armor is Medium.
Universal upgrades
Universal upgrades are upgrades that can be utilized on any type of equipment. This includes armor and weapons. The upgrade components are typically random, but they can also be found by completing Side Quests. Universal upgrades are either temporary or permanent and they may overlap with Power-Ups. They may also be linear or branching.
Universal Upgrades begin when "internal technology" can give sentient beings new capabilities that they are not likely to develop naturally. Implants and prostheses are two examples of internal technology. This kind of improvement is not the same as medical internal technology which is designed to restore the natural capabilities. It is the start of a process that will transform civilizations completely. The universal upgrade may be an extended and complicated process. However the process is divided into two distinct classes: full success and partial failure.
It's similar to the way that resort upgrades function at Disney and Universal. In the case WDW the reason for this is usually due to operational requirements such as availability of rooms or overbooking. In the case of Universal, this could be to transfer guests from one resort to another that is open. This is not meant to be rude but it is something that can be necessary in the present climate.
Universal upgrades can be utilized on any kind of gear. They can also be applied to multiple items at once. This makes them more adaptable than other types of upgrades. However, this flexibility may cause issues when upgrading items within a specific gear path, because it can increase the item level of the entire gear path.
Before performing an upgrade, it's important to stop the PowerShell Universal service and delete the existing application files. After that you can install the new files using the Get-ChildItem -Recurse or Unblock-File commands. It is recommended to also run a basic validation against your PSU server to ensure that it functions correctly.
Jewels
Jewels are upgrades that can be added to armor, weapons and other accessories. They provide various stat bonuses and other effects based on the gemstone and reagent used to create them. They are found in Golden Chests and Rift Incursions. They can also be bought from a master craftsman for gold or karma. Jewels can also be crafted on a jewelry table with 1 gem and 5 of the same chemical reagents to create a gem of greater or lesser tier; this process is the same as upgrading a gemstone using a gemcrafting table.
Jewel levels are determined by the number of modifiers they have. Jewels of higher tiers are more than lower-tier jewels. The primary effect is determined by the jewel's tier, while the secondary effect is random. Players can use luck potions to increase their chances of obtaining more beneficial secondary effects.
Jewels can be incorporated into items that have sockets that match, just like other upgrade components. A Garnet Jewel and a Garnet Stone both boost the strength of an item, but a Garnet Jewel also boosts a player's strength when attacking. Jewels can be placed in all levels of armor, weapon and accessory slots, and certain trinkets that are rarer or exotic nature which require a slot to be empty.
Gems are a specific mechanic for DMs that helps to make items feel special to their owners. Through offering a variety of different upgrade paths gems let players alter their equipment to find the right combination for them. They can upgrade their equipment with new gems if they feel that the original set is no longer the

Requirements
The WoW
item upgrade system allows players to increase the level of their equipment, weapons and trinkets above their current item level by using specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor resources. These upgrades increase item stats and some even have special effects. (For instance Dolphin's grace grants swimmers the same grace as dolphins). These upgrades can be obtained by upgrading items or salvaging them. Different items will drop different upgrade components.
The process of upgrading can be quite complex, but simple. First, the player picks the
item upgrading they wish to upgrade, and then click the Upgrade button. A window will open with the different upgrades available for the item. This window will display the upgrade level, any type of upgrade bonus (such as Tech Points or Quality Chance) and the cost of the upgrade. The upgrade level will be displayed in a bar at the top of the screen, and the upgrade type bonus is displayed below it.
The user will have to bring the item to the upgrader, who will explain how to upgrade the item. The player will then need to provide the appropriate currency and, if necessary, additional materials. These requirements are determined by the
item upgrading's level. Weapons have more strict requirements opposed to armor.
In addition to the required upgrade components, a lot of upgrade recipes also have an acceptable materials list. This list also includes other upgrade components that can be used to upgrade an item. It also has an indicator that tells you whether or not the item has a guarantee of a boost. It is important to be aware because the value of an upgraded item can vary significantly depending on the extras it comes with, with properly roll gear much more valuable than those that are not upgraded.
The list of upgrade types that require valorstones or crests will be displayed separately below the main list. The amount of crests and valorstones needed depends on the level of the item. Upgrades to weapons require the most Valorstones.
