Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations applied.
For instance, the top shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, like an armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item for a different one of the same type, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.
Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on an item, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that weapons and melee attacks, while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next success is to be rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These stones are special stones that boost the level of an
item level upgrade by increasing its stats or characteristics. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the longevity of the
item upgrader mod. This makes it an excellent method for players to get an advantage in combat without straining their bank account. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. However, there are numerous methods to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is attained.
Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the first is where players can put in a piece of equipment to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades are no longer available for it. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this could ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium and a number Upgrade tokens.
The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is added to an item, it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases the base defense and adds an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Some items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats and more because it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the
item level upgrade type (either Weapon or Armor) the level of the item and the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
