Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its stats base and often boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations used.
The racial Shield elite Razortail For instance, it is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one of the same type and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment using three categories that include physical power, magical power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players first need to find the
item upgrades they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the longevity of the item. The system is an excellent choice for those who want to gain an advantage in battle but don't want burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. In addition, players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is attained.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a certain quantity of items to be applied, as well as a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can add a piece of equipment to be upgraded, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each upgrade, the stats of the base item will be increased by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium and an amount of
upgrade item tokens.
Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however, increases weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats and more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon), the level of the item and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory when you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close you are to completing the
upgrade items. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any
item upgrader NPC.
