Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original item's level, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To create them, you need a higher-quality token for rerolling. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they are open they show a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.
In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the
Best item upgrader's level a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. However, there are numerous ways to acquire these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items and a minimum equipment level.
The
upgrade item Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. Also, when a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to provide an added bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Item upgrade components can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve the perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
When you choose an
upgrade item component to be inserted into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of that item, the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for an upgrade The game will then place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
