This uses AI to identify objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with a picture of an object that it encounters, meaning you can instruct the robot to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the best affordable robot vacuum robot mop that we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills quickly and leaves no trace of it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app that allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't sweep areas you do not want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop by speaking to it.

Its design is a step above the competition with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying, which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ was quick to took away dirt, dust, and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place instead of scattering it on the floor. While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that work with robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates and it can be difficult to tell if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.

It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies, which is a place which many robot vacuums fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is also superb, with only a few mishaps on walls and corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled via a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and alter your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you select the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once in place, emptying the bin can be done with relative ease. It's a small base station that looks beautiful and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling feature is the way it automatizes various tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive as well. It's the few robovacs I've tested that do an excellent job of cleaning up debris from unfinished floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, meaning it can get stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of your home. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a dock to create a clean zone for plush carpets.

While it doesn't offer as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price tag.

However, if you're looking to save money or simply don't care about the limitations of this robotic there are many other great choices available with a wide range of eufy models for considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive and has more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides a better overall vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished, low-pile carpets as well as high-pile ones.

Eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums with the right combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpeted floors, as well as mopping functions for a low cost. It uses a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and where it can't access. When it needs to recharge, it will automatically return to its base and resumes cleaning where it left off.

The elegant G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, has the same battery life and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be empty as often and comes with a set of boundaries to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is, on the other hand is more affordable and is much simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and it has less trouble with bulky material like cereal.
