He is the son of Eclipse, the great racehorse and champion stallion of his time. He was the first stallion ever to win the St. Leger and won many other important races like the Derby and Sussex Stakes. He also won the Queen's Plate, which is one of the most prestigious races in Europe.

Eclipse's dam, Sprightly, was a daughter of the legendary Thormanby, who won the 2,000 Guineas and several other races. She is the dam of several of racehorses that are good, including Fairplay, who was a top horse and a winner of the 2,000 Guineas as well as other races. She is also the mother of Semper Felix who was both a good racehorse as well as sire.

Mollie was described by her owner as a lively and adventurous bird, who loved building planes. However, she would sometimes smash them. It is possible that her violent behavior is a result of being abused and neglected by park employees. This is apparent from some of her voice lines, when she stalks or chases the player.
