Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and MopIf you're looking to tidy up messes quickly and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the best way to go. The top robot vacuums and mop I test had superior mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as wires that were tangled.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks through an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum. It comes with the most recent features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and was able to pick up human hair and pet hair almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface that comes with a mini-map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to alter the cleaning mode based on dirt levels. It will clean its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given priority for mopping using a damp mopping pad.
The mop roller comes with several other clever features, including a dock that can be connected to your home's plumbing system to clean and wash it without you having to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to set room cleaning modes and the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities The Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile choices. It's one of many combinator robot vacuums that include mops that are also priced lower than other models.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This includes setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done the robot is able to begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It's important to note that the mapping process can take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate image of your space. The object detection is also hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, however, it got stuck on a rug with tassels, and needed to turn to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for a cleaning companion that does all of the above.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned and not just swept. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach spots even robot vacuums can't.
This model is nearly identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly increased suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few other smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app lets you customize a variety of settings such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the
robot vacuum cleaner reviews vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and place debris into bags that self-seal. This keeps the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is long enough to handle large spaces without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with impressive features at an affordable price. It has a strong 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for carpets and hard floors, and great obstacles-avoiding. It also has a unique mopping method, which uses a roller continuously doused with water to pull dirt and place it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without crashing, and avoiding stairs. It had trouble with fine debris and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also high, which suggests it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than some.
Like most
robotic cleaner and mop vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to replenish its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to a routine schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all of its functions. It gives you an easy overview and a variety of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the
best robot cleaner mowers and vacuums on the market. It delivers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. The LIDAR mapping sensors can recognize furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with a reasonable accuracy. The application allows users to adjust the map coverage, set up no-go zones, or customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is equipped with smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they are close to soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.
The docking station acts as a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional
robot vacuums that mop vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they are cleaned.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8 and this
robot vacuum with mop does an excellent job of keeping my home office tidy and is able to take on the corners of my tight apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your area, so it knows which areas to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop), unlike many vacuums.
It has other great standout features, including an automatic emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach places that other mops don't. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and set custom settings for every room in your home.
It features the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rugs. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to save time. It's a great option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to spend the money to buy Roborock. Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice to consider if you're seeking a flexible robot that can do both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a variety of features like self-emptying dustbins and an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it can maneuver between furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it isn't able to take care of tangled rug tassels and it's battery drains slightly faster than other models in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that comes with a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it performed very well overall. It has a range of cleaning modes, from the low-power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the more powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used even in small spaces. It's very quiet and fast, and it is a great choice for navigating tight spots. It is also very good at removing pet hair from carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has decent suction power and can be programmed to take pictures of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they will not be picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are encrypted and aren't tied to your account.
It is great at vacuuming, but not as great in mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot and it essentially drags them around your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
