robot vacuum reviews automatic vacuum cleaner and mop cleaners and mops are the most efficient method to quickly clean up mess. The best robot vacuums and mops that I have tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.
They're also simple to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and see what they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the top robot vacuum and mop that has cutting-edge features, look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This model of the highest quality is quick and agile it can remove debris such as pet hair and human hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface that comes with a mini-map of your home and buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another noteworthy characteristic of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode based on dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
The mop roller has many other smart features, such as a dock that can be connected to your home's plumbing system to wash and clean it without you needing to refill the mop. You can even use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant of the S8, saying "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls using just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum with mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible options. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with combo features that also include mops however it's priced at a lower cost than the majority of competitors.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've done that, the machine will begin to vacuum and mop with ease.
It's worth noting that mapping takes quite a while and may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection is also not perfect. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a rug with tassels, and had to flip over to free itself. But these are minor flaws, and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who want an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned and not just cleaned. The
autonomous vacuum stick that can be detached is an absolute game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums can't.
The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional intelligent features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's surroundings and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you modify a variety of settings such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and place the debris into the self-sealing bag. This keeps the system clean, and prevents allergens recirculating. The battery life is long enough to clean large areas without requiring the battery to be charged mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop model that offers impressive features at affordable prices. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for hard and carpet floors and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also features an innovative mopping system which utilizes a continuous roller dosed with water to pick dirt and then deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology performed well, navigating close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps. It was unable to handle fine debris and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also relatively high, so it may be less of a "set-and-forget" model than other models.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin as well as wash and dry the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with a regular schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all of its functions. It gives you clear information and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best vacuums/mowers on the market. It provides amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision, and the app lets users fine-tune coverage of the map, define zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to stop hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be a major problem with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates smart carpet detectors, which lift these pads up when they are near soft surfaces in order to prevent contamination.
The docking station functions as an unmanned maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station features an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust and allows seven weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.
6. S10
This robot is a few hundred dollars less expensive than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my home office clean. It is also able to reach into the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D map of your home, so it knows what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop it detects objects and obstructions that is able to avoid things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop).
It also comes with other highlights, such as an
automatic vacuum cleaner and mop emptying dust bin and a mop pad self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas other mops miss. You can also set cleaning schedules in the app and set custom settings for every room in your home.
Like the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. It also lets you skip mopping rooms that are not clean if you want to save time. If you have several types of flooring options in your home and don't wish to spend more money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features it is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice when you're looking for a robot that can do both regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups for wet messes. It has a wide range of features including a self-emptying dustbin, the water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It is surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. However, it isn't able to take care of the tangled tassels of rugs, and its battery drains a little faster than other models in our tests.
With a cost of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and handy automation into a sleek design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming, but overall it did quite well. It also includes a wide selection of cleaning options to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for carpeted rooms. It can even automatically remove and reattach the mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in smaller spaces. It's quiet and quick, and it is a great choice for maneuvering around tight spaces. It also does a excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has decent suction power and can be programmed to take pictures of every object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they will not be picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secure and are not tied to your account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped to the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mophead.
