The Best Twin Buggy
Created to adapt to your family's needs This inline double comes with various seating options and is suitable for twins or children of various age groups. The tires are filled with foam and will not flatten, and the soft suspension is ideal for kerbs.
It is easy to travel with because it folds super-flat and it satisfies the weight requirements for gate-checks at airports. It also comes with a large storage basket under the seat and a four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
With its sleek design, auto-fold and cabin-approved dimensions, the Leclerc Influencer is a fantastic alternative for those who fly. Its folded (and unfolded) width is 47cm, which slightly exceeds the IATA standard of 45cm but it still meets the regulations of hand luggage for airlines and can be stored in the overhead lockers during flights (Subject to Airline approval). We found it easy to clean with a simple wipe down and there were plenty of extras available, including footmuffs, nappy and buggy organiser bags that fit onto handles and hoods offering UV50and protection.
It's easy to maneuver up and down stairs, and it can fit into tight spaces like narrow streets, shops and Jane's terrace house. The bumper bar also functions as an handle. There's also a large brake that's flip-flop-compatible and comes with a colour-coded indicator. The basket is a little smaller than some other models but it's still big enough to accommodate a decent-sized change bag. there are also additional trays for drinks, snacks and toys.
It's suitable from the moment of birth and can be combined with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat using adaptors (sold separately). The innovative backrest can be flattened to allow for long walks or naps. The 5-point harness with magnets makes it easy to use. It's also extremely lightweight, weighing just 6.6kg. A travel bag is included.
Joie Evalite Duo
British brand Joie is dedicated to "sharing happiness with the new parents" and has created
pushchairs double that are "functional and fashionable". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It's designed to carry two kids side-by-side unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has seats that are raised so both kids can see the world around them.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg and is one of lightest strollers for siblings available. It is suitable from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's simple to fold, lift, drive and ride. The frame's clever design can be expanded to accommodate a second child seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding is an outstanding feature. They were awed by how quickly and easily the Evalite Duo comes together. However, they did notice that it's trickier to navigate bumps and rough terrain than some other models.
They also note that the front seat does not fully recline, and they had to make use of their hands to pull it back down which they don't want to be forced to do while traveling with children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a fantastic stroller that can be improved with a few adjustments. They love how compact it is when folded.
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that provides parents with all the options they require. It is compatible with a variety of car seats, and folds effortlessly by using a single-click mechanism. It comes with a variety of additional features, such as raincovers and liners. Rival brands charge separately for these.
iCandy Peach is a favorite for parents who are fashion-conscious due to its fashionable and modern jersey fabrics. The new 2022 Peach has been updated with a few minor tweaks to increase efficiency and performance without sacrificing style.
One of the biggest improvements to the current Peach is the inclusion of a ride-on board that makes it an ideal choice for twins. It is also slightly more compact than older Peach models however that doesn't stop it from providing the space you could require for your child.
It's a great double stroller for parents who are looking for something that looks good and offers plenty of flexibility. You can use it from the beginning as a single stroller and then purchase a double kit for it to be a twin buggy. It comes with an enormous basket and five reclining positions to ensure maximum comfort for your child. It also features a one-handed fold and an integrated carry strap. It is a bit bulky to store, especially since it folds in two pieces instead of one.
iCandy Orange
This is the most comfortable
twin buggy you can get. The seats are well-padded and come with luxurious footmuffs or liners which should keep your little ones cosy in cold weather. The carrycot slots onto the Orange chassis with ease thanks to the gate-opening flaps on the sides and is comfortable and spacious. The seat and carrycot are set up in various configurations, and the Orange chassis can accommodate an incredible 30 different possible combinations.
The wheels are specially designed to tackle pavements and rough ground and there's a hefty shopping basket that's ideal for big supermarket shops. The pushchair is smooth to drive and has a light feel, and the pedal brake that is rounded is simple to use (but not flip-flop friendly). It's not the easiest one to fold and the latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to open. Once it's collapsed the front wheels tuck under the basket, and the chassis will be able to stand up without difficulty.
The Orange is ideal for parents who are fashion-conscious and have an infant or toddler and want a buggy that'll be able to grow with them. It's also a great option for parents who are expecting another child in the near future who want a flexible
double stroller for twins pushchair. The iCandy Orange is not
cheap double pushchair, but it's versatile enough that it should last for a while and have a good resale value as well. It can also be fitted with a buggy board which can reduce the amount of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
Established by a New Zealander, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first brand to concentrate on all-terrain dual pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller is easily maneuvered through narrow aisles of shopping and doors. It is among the smallest, fully-featured double buggies on the market and has won many awards, including the 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.
The seats are narrow enough to let children of different ages sit comfortably together. They also have an independent reclined so that children can select their preferred position. The large canopies feature flip-out sun visors, and the storage basket offers plenty of space. It works with almost all brands and can accept two infant car seat adapters with the purchase of car seats.
The only drawback is the weight. It is heavy at 32.4 pounds and could be difficult to lift out and into of the trunk for Grandma. Additionally, it is more expensive than the majority of side-by-side double buggies. It is built to last and it offers many features for its price. It's a good option for parents in urban areas who don't want to drag around a bulky stroller. And, the padded harnesses and 5-point buckle ensure safety for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey Twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a fashionable and functional design. It's a top-quality product, however, it's not without imperfections.
It's got very little in the way of extra features for the parents and their children. The only thing that is provided by the tiny side bin is that it is only available only when one car seat is connected. There are no cup holders, parent trays or accessory pockets. This could be a problem on long journeys.
The seats also don't recline to a very flat position, and the gap between them is a bit wide which is why our 5 year old experienced difficulty lying back comfortably. This is a shame since it's a top-of-the-line model.
On the positive side, it's a easy to maneuver, and the swivel wheels are great at getting up steep slopes and steps. It's also small enough to pass through most doors and folds easily for stress-free storage and transportation. Plus, it can be switched into mono mode with just three clicks if ever require more space or need to get away. It can even accommodate a third child with the comfort wheeled boards if you're required to. If you're looking to save money you can find cheaper alternatives. It's worth it though in the event that you're a huge fan of the brand and have money to spend.
