Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've ever wanted to
best buy robot vacuum a robot vacuum now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping with apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its most significant advancement is an obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often go through). It's the first robot to send you images of objects that it encounters, so that you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop
robot vacuum cleaner sale we've ever tested, removing dirt and spills with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum in areas that you don't want. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop by speaking to it.
Its design is a step above the competition with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robot rather than a loud, loud one. The Clean Base
best automatic vacuum Dirt Disposal System self-empties which is great for reducing your cleanup time.
In our tests the j7+ performed quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place, instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able to collect small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a tiny bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot do this. It did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.
The j7+, although not as smart as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and it isn't able to clean the stairs, is still an option for those who want both a vacuum and a mop. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however we've found it be less reliable than other applications that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to determine if they are working until you see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
When you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your
best robot vacuum option is probably a hybrid. These robots come with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum at the same time. These bots also come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping and small object avoidance and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they tend to be expensive at retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.
Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our favorite robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't disappoint. This is the least expensive model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't have some of the more premium features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent option if you are willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is extremely soft when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have many furniture pieces. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is a problem where cheaper robot vacuums can really fall short. The Q5+'s navigation is top-quality, with a few misses on walls and corners.
The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled with a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.
If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock that's designed specifically to make this robot easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's in place the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It features a large LCD screen which is helpful in setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessary feature for most people, but it's one that will assist you in keeping the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot easily.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and features are among the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.
It is a relatively small base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. The main reason to buy the station is that it can automate many tasks, chores and functions that other robots would leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot charged and clean.
Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive as well. It's the only robovac I've used that has done well at picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robotvacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It's not able climb stairs as well as competitors, for instance and doesn't come with a dock that allows you to create an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.
Although it doesn't provide as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those seeking a great all-round mop and robot vacuum that's worth the price price.
If you're looking to save some money or don't want to think about the limitations of this
Cheap Robot Vacuum Cleaner there are many other options available with a wide range of eufy models priced significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides an identical experience on the app with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors and low and high-pile carpets.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums that have the right combination of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a reasonable price. It's easy to setup by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock near an outlet for power and enough space to allow it to move, however.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise, which means it can be tucked away under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is less ostentatious when compared to rival models. It has a sleek black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.
The most important characteristic that distinguishes the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of non-movable objects that are in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning where it left off.
The elegant G30 isn't without its faults however. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower monthly costs. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and performs better on unfinished floors or low-pile carpet. It has a larger dust bin that doesn't require as much emptying. It also comes with boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 on the other hand is less expensive and a lot simpler to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be emptied as often, and it has less difficulty handling bulky products such as cereal.
