If you're looking to clean up mess fast, a
robot hoover vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops that I tested had excellent mapping and navigation. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as wires that were tangled.
They're also simple to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're working on.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best
robot Vacuums uk mop and
automatic vacuum and mop robot. It has the latest features. This high-end model is incredibly swift and agile and can pick up dirt such as pet hair and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface that comes with a mini-map of your home as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode based on the level of dirt. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
The mop roller has a number of other smart features, such as a dock that connects to your home's plumbing system to clean and wash it without you needing to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to specify the cleaning mode of your room and provide precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking a hands free robot vacuum that also has mopping capabilities. It's among the many combinator robot vacuums that include mopping capabilities that are available at a lower cost than the competition.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves setting up an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot can begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It is important to remember
robots that vacuum and mop the mapping process could take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate image of your space. The object detection feature is not perfect. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, however, it got stuck on a rug with tassels and needed to turn to free itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do all of the above.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned, not just swept. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional clever features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can be used to learn your home's surroundings and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The smart app allows you to customize a number of settings, including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging station after each job to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and then place the debris in the self-sealing bags. This keeps the system clean, and prevents allergens recirculating. And its battery longevity is sufficient to handle large spaces without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop model that has impressive features for a reasonable price. It has a strong 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for hard and carpet floors, and great obstacles-avoiding. It also boasts a unique mopping method, that uses a roller that is continuously doused with water to pull dirt and then deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology was effective, navigating close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also quite high, and it could be less of a set-and-forget model than some.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin and dry and wash the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes upkeep easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to a routine schedule. Eufy's app allows you to control all its functions. It provides clear information and plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot mowers available, and it offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision, and the app lets users fine-tune map coverage, create no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system also includes intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upwards when they're close to soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them.
The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free maintenance centre which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops, and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station comes with an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust, which allows for seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 and this robot does an excellent job of keeping my home office tidy and is able to take on the corners of my tiny apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping and camera to create a 3D model of your home so it can know what to stay clear of. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that will stay clear of things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop) unlike most vacuums.
It has other great notable features, like an
automatic vacuum and mop robot emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach places that other mops don't. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and set custom settings for every room in your home.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile carpets. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to save time. It's an excellent option if you have a mix of flooring in your home but do not want to invest the extra money for Roborock. Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this little robot is an excellent choice. It comes with a wide range of features, including a self emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings through the app. It's surprisingly quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't take care of knotted rug tassels and it's battery drains a little quicker than other models we tested in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that comes with a powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still performed very well overall. It has a range of cleaning modes, ranging from the quiet mode with low power which is suitable for small debris to the powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It will even automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads without causing your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in small areas. It's extremely silent and fast and it is able to navigate tight spaces with ease. It also does a excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than the majority of its competition, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it is able to take a picture of every object it comes across (i.e., chew toys or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secured and are not tied to your account.
It is capable of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bot's bottom, and it basically drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mophead.
