After every cleaning session, the water tank will also be automatically emptied.

It has some advanced options for modifying the cleaning schedule, for example, choosing a specific time to begin and end every cycle, or choosing whether it should vacuum carpets prior to mopping. It has advanced features that let it switch between carpets and hard surfaces, and eliminate pet hair from carpets, and clean thresholds for rooms that are raised.

The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping, thanks to its internal dToF system. It can maintain a low-profile while still providing the best robot hoover in detection of objects. It can be driven close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps, and it also raises its mop automatically when it drives over rugs and carpets with a short pile. It had a difficult time when it encountered longer-pile carpets, and some long, thick messes with dried-on debris.

The S1 Pro is ready to be used right out of the box, and it just requires just a few minutes of mapping to discover your home. The map will then be displayed in the app and you can join or add rooms as you need to. You can also set up virtual boundaries such as no-mop zones, no-go zones, and no-go zones if you don't want the robot to touch specific objects.

The S1 Pro does a great job of removing messes from hard floors due to its rotary mop head, which puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor.
