Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that is multi-purpose. It can be converted from a single stroller into a double stroller by adding a second seat (sold separately) or a glider board. The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is able to be set up to a triple travel system with the addition of a bench or infant car seat. In all, it offers 24 different configurations and is a top stroller overall. This model is made with Baby Jogger's soft durable, breathable and sustainably-sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating the temperature. It features a premium leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, as well as the belly bar. It folds 20 percent smaller than the industry-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is also lighter.
It has a medium-sized sunshade and a handy magnetic peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable, and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline and have a footwell adjustment knob so you can position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin has plenty of space, but we would have preferred to have a more secure latch. The bin is easy to open, but the zippers can be difficult to use because they must be removed and refastened after each use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are easy to install and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It's barefoot and sandal-friendly and a significant improvement over the awkward toe-pinch brake lever that a few of the other models use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that can accept two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or parents with one kiddo and a baby due. It is compatible with the majority of major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it with Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families who already have an infant car seat and are looking for a stroller to accommodate it, but you may prefer a convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional car seat in this case.
