Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Mulliner, Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding unit has created a unique keycase to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Bentley. Made from Dark Stained Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying 'B' paperweight, a set of keys and a brochure featuring never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

The Continental GT is Bentley's most sophisticated open-top vehicle. Design

Bentley estimates that it takes around 500 man-hours to build and build the Mulsanne. A key to that time-consuming effort is a deliberate refusal to take advantage of modern technology. The Crewe factory workers do not use a machine to space perfectly matched cross stitched leather seats. Instead, they do it by hand. Drivers must park their vehicles manually, rather than using sensors built-in to guide them into perpendicular and parallel spots.
