git.fuwafuwa.moe)
Robots that clean and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning dry debris and wet messes in one go, without having to switch between devices. They can also save space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot should have impressive navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that can automatically empty their bin and refill their water tank, and wash their mopping pads using a dedicated dock.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the easiest robots to install that we've tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and an easy-to-follow guide will have you up and running with a clean, complete dust bag, floor solution for hard floors and water tank in no time at all.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops are spun at a high speed and utilize 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to swiftly take away pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a range of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app which lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.
For example, you can choose to have the robot clean up the living and kitchen areas but take it easy in the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation technology are excellent too, with the
robot vacuum cleaner reviews being capable of detecting small obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only issue it has is that it tends to crash into walls and objects at full speed - but a quick glance at the history of cleaning in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing, where it's going and the obstacles it's avoided.
The docking station has a handy LCD screen that shows the time when maintenance is required like emptying the debris and washing the dirty water tank. It is also able to mix detergent into the tank in a controlled manner by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum come with a long-running time. The mop can run for 184 mins in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can run for 136 minutes in normal mode, before having to recharge or returning to the base. The app is easy to use and intuitive, allowing you to look at all the details of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's most popular robot mop and vacuum. It's not like the model from last year it comes with an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad which greatly improves carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to pick up fine hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners might overlook.
The Roborock model, just like the other two models I tested is equipped with infrared and 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it get around obstacles like walls, furniture, and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and incorporates a dual-camera that can identify objects, and determine if they're walls or other surfaces. It can then change its direction automatically and clean around them without stumbling.
This is the most expensive of the three models I've examined, however, it's also the most packed with features. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it has just three physical buttons which include the power button that also resumes cleaning; a mop-only button that doubles as a child lock and a home button to bring the
best robot vacuum back to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin auto-refills.
The only drawback I could find to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. You can replace the mopping cloth when required, but it's not easy to remove the mount to wash it manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener on mount, which can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app is where you can manage and configure these features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and track battery life. You'll have to go through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame, considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

The L20 Ultra is also one of the most fashionable robots we've seen in the market, sporting metallic and white colors that is elegant and stylish. It's a little heavier than some of the other two-in-1 robots on this list, at 4kg however it's not overly heavy either, and it is sturdy and well-built. Mopping is well designed, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. They can even extend to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice feature.
