They argue that evolution is not possible because it requires miracles. The founders of modern science shunned miracles in fear that they might lose their credibility.

Some creationists believe in both naturalistic evolution and special creation, and call their view "theistic evolution." This is also referred to as "continuous evolutionism" or the "evolution of created kinds." The theory says that God creates the original species and allows them to evolve over time.
