If you've ever thought of get a robot vacuum, now's your chance. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts as high as 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+, iRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its greatest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often go through). It's the first robot to provide you with a picture of an object that it encounters, so that you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot vacuum sale mop we've ever tested. It removes dirt and spills easily and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't vacuum in areas that you don't would like. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.

Its design is also a step above the competition with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robot vacuum cleaner comparison rather than a loud, loud one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place rather than scattering it around the floor. It even managed to catch small gravel and sand which other robots can't. It did all this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

Although it's not as efficient as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs, the j7+ is still an excellent option for those who require both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however we've found it be less reliable than other apps that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to know if they are working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your best robot vacuum for large house choice is probably hybrid. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water which means they can mop and vacuum your home at the same time. These bots also come with various additional features like smart mapping and small object avoidance and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but they often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our most loved robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not include some of the premium features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) but it's an excellent option for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles such as tables and walls and walls, which makes it a great choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a area where many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation is top-quality, with a few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled with just a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, alter your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+, it ships with a new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this robot simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively easy. It has a large LCD screen which is helpful in setting up schedules and changing settings. This isn't a necessary feature for most people, but it's one that can assist you in keeping the track of your robot's maintenance intervals easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly smart in both its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and functionality are among the most advanced available however it's expensive.

It's a tiny base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's main selling factor is its ability to automate numerous tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive and efficient, too. It's one of the few robovacs I've tried that does very well at cleaning up debris from bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robot vacuums. This means it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It also can't climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone seeking a great all-round robot vacuum and mop that's worth the premium price price.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are other options available. Many of the eufy models cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper and has more features, such as stair climbing and a full-function Dock, which provides a better overall vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy, a Anker company has a proven track record of making robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on carpets and hard floors, as well as a mopping function at a reasonable price. It's easy to set it up, simply attach one of the side brushes and turn it on, then plug in your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock near a power outlet and plenty of room for it to move around, however.

The G30 is a tiny device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it can be tucked away under couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is a little less flashy than some of the rival models, and features sleek black finish and three physical buttons: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs a space in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.

The main aspect that distinguishes the G30 above the rest is the way it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to make an image of the unmovable items in its path. It can remember the items it has cleaned and where it cannot access. It will return to the base to recharge and continues cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring expenses, charges faster and offers similar battery life while offering better performance on bare floors and low-pile carpet. It has a larger dust bin, which does not require more emptying. It also comes with border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't have to be empty as often, and it has less difficulty handling bulky products like cereal.robotic-vacuum-cleaner-cleaning-the-room-while-wom-2024-11-07-13-20-10-utc-min-jpg-original.jpg
