Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.
The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor, or rings. The item is replaced by another item of the same type and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.
Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment using three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage of melee and weapons attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary
item upgrade, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next Success is being rerolled. This lets you save upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
During the course of an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the
upgrade items option and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the longevity of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to get an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. In addition, players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is reached.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack with one another, and can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. Once players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. Likewise, once an item reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on its type, but you'll typically need Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade Tokens.
Item upgrade components can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers which can further increase the stats of an item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get an exact roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading the game will put the
item upgrade in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
