The Best robot vacuum that mops (

Noah Pinsonnault works as a product analyst at Good Housekeeping's Home Care and Cleaning Lab.
He reviews and tests cleaning equipment, focusing on mopping and
robot vacuum cleaner reviews vacuum combos. Multitaskers are an excellent choice for those who want to remove mopping from their list of tasks. Some have great mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance. Some wash and refill mopping pads for a hands-free cleaning.
The Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a
robot cleaner vacuum that also mops then this is the model to go for. It's smaller than the other models on this list, which makes it easier to maneuver into tight corners and underneath furniture. It features a 220 degree lidar which, when paired with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the most effective navigation and object avoidance that I've ever seen in a robot vacuum. It has a 4600mAh battery that can last up to 170 mins when mopping and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can be more efficient when using turbo). It can even return to its dock to replenish its battery mid-clean.
It's very quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways with only one sweep. The suction motor's 8,000pa is quick at picking up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help to tease away debris from corners.
The mopping performance is a little less impressive, though not by much. The mop rotates quickly and uses 2.2lbs to remove dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a bit more than other robots. This is useful when you're trying to get into tight corners or along baseboards. Those same front arms can also be used to clean larger objects, such as broken toys and books.
Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest
robot hoover and mop vacuums and mop I've tried. It doesn't make as loud of a sound when mopping or vacuuming and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a exclusive cleaning solution for mopping, and is sold separately from the vacuum. It's simple to install and works well, but this is something that you'll need to be aware of when you purchase this vacuum solely for the purpose of mopping.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it a great option for homeowners looking for an extremely efficient, flexible and ad-hoc cleaning machine.
The device comes with a powerful and impressive cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map the house and detect furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean intelligently and effectively. This ensures an efficient and consistent cleaning, while also being relatively rapid.
The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. This includes corners or baseboards, as well as other difficult-to-access spots. They also come with a stretchy side brush that can be extended to the floor in close proximity to walls and other fixtures. The mop pads can also be washable and dry to reduce odors and prevent buildup.
Another noteworthy feature is the customization options that are available through apps. The Q Revo lets you adjust the intensity of its suction, and choose between a back-andforth or more random pattern. You can also alter the number of passes it must make, which will determine how fast the device will move through your home. You can also choose to turn off the side brush to avoid damaging carpets and rugs.
It's expensive, but it comes with a lot of smart features. It's important to note that it incurs recurring costs, such as mopping supplies and maintenance. For instance the brushroll should be replaced every six to 12 months or after 300 hours. The filter is to be cleaned every 150 hours, and mop pads should be changed every three month.
This robot vacuum that mops has a high rating on Amazon and includes a broad range of physical automation features. The robot vacuum also comes with a power button which doubles as the 'Clean button' as well as a 'Home button that allows it to go back home after cleaning. It also comes with a multi-functional dock that automatically emptys the trash bin and refills its water tank to mop and washes and dry its mop pads.
The Shark Matrix Plus
The Shark Matrix Plus will be an ideal choice for busy professionals or anyone who wants to keep their home clean without spending too much time on chores. Its powerful performance, smart navigation, and long battery life make it easy to maintain a clean house with minimal effort.
The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop which means it is able to handle mopping and vacuuming. It has two modules: a combined dry bin and reservoir of water, and a separate mopping system with a microfiber pad that snaps into and out of position. It's a bit old-fashioned to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming however it does mean that you don't need to worry about changing out disposable bags or refilling the tank with water.
The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming as well as mopping. Its
best robot cleaner feature was its accurate map of your floorplan which it uses to draw a route when cleaning. It was easy for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture, rugs, and other obstacles. The app also offers the option of setting "No-Go zones" and virtual barriers, which help to protect specific areas of your home from being scrubbed with mop.
We also noticed that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well in picking up pet hair. It was able capture the majority of hair our cats shed, and even got into the nooks and crannies of our stairs, where other robots struggled. It was relatively quiet and had some lovely jingles to let you know when it was about to start or finishing its work.
The app was too basic and you had to change the modules every time you changed between mops and vacuuming. The app isn't able to contain multiple maps, which can be a problem for homes with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good choice for people who want an intelligent robot that is capable of mopping and vacuuming.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our test, but it comes with some distinct features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its massive dock that doubles as the robot's charging base and housing for two 4-liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning and an
automatic vacuum and mop robot 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically emptys.
The base also has a number of control buttons that let you manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two of the buttons to switch on a child lock that is a great option for parents concerned about children playing with the vacuum.
The X1 Omni like other robotic vacuums, utilizes its camera to identify obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will steer clear of them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system maps your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise at recognizing objects.
This can cause the X1 to become stuck if it gets entangled in a hazard, such as a power cable draped over a rug. It won't function until you remove it manually. This was a rare incident however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert on its app.
The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during a cleaning session. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad, except that mopping pads don't get washed or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.
The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. It's also a welcome sight for an industry dominated by boxy units.
