Its design is also an improvement over the rest, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy than a loud, obnoxious one. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System also self-empties, which will cut down your cleaning time.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ quickly took away dirt, dust, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one place instead of scattering it across the floor. If you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, the best option is probably hybrid. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum at the same time. However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as competitors, either and it doesn't have a dock that lets you to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who want an automated vacuum that can do everything.

If you're looking to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are many other options available. Many eufy models cost substantially less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The most important feature that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of the non-movable objects that are in its path and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and where it can't access. If it requires a recharge, it returns to its base and resumes cleaning where it started.

The eufy G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, offers a similar battery life, and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as often and comes with the boundaries to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and has less difficulty handling bulky products like cereal.
