The
Best Twin BuggyThis inline double is designed to expand with your family and you. It comes with a variety of seating options that can be used for twins or kids of different age groups. Its foam-filled rubber tires don't flatten out and its soft suspension can easily handle the kerbs.
It folds flat and is in compliance with the weight requirements for gate-checks at airports which makes it easy to carry around. It also includes a large storage basket under the seat, and the sun canopy is four panels.
Leclerc Influencer
The Leclerc influencer is a great option for travelers. Its sleek design, auto-folding and dimensions that are cabin-approved make it a great option. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. This is slightly larger than the IATA standard 45cm. But, it conforms to the hand luggage requirements of airlines. It can be kept in overhead lockers on flights (subject to airline approval). We found it easy to clean with a simple wipe down and there were many extras available like footmuffs, nappy and buggy organiser bags that strap onto handles and hoods that provide UV50and protection.
It's easy to get up and down stairs and can be squeezed through tight spaces such as narrow alleyways, shops and Jane's terrace house. The bumper bar can also serve as an handle. It also has a large brake that's flip-flop friendly and has a color indicator. The basket is smaller than some other models but it's still big enough to accommodate a decent-sized changing bag and there are also additional tray for snacks, drinks and toys.
It's suitable from the time of birth and can be used with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat using adaptors (sold separately). The innovative backrest can be flattened to make it suitable for long walks or naps. The magnetic 5-point harness makes it easy to use. It's also light, weighing only 6.6kg. A travel bag is also included.
Joie Evalite Duo
British brand Joie is dedicated to "sharing joy with parents who are expecting" by creating pushchairs that are "functional and fashionable". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It is designed to hold two children at a time in contrast to the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also features stadium-style seating, which lets both children experience the world around them.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg, making it one of the most lightweight strollers for kids on the market. It is suitable from birth and is compatible with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's simple to fold, lift, drive and ride. The clever frame can be expanded to accommodate a second child seat.
Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is a major feature of the Evalite Duo, and they were amazed by how fast and easily it can be put together. However, they did observe that it was more difficult to navigate bumps and rough surfaces in comparison to other models.
They also note that the front seat doesn't fully recline, and they needed to use their hands to get it down - something they'd prefer not to have to do when travelling with young children. But, they do agree that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that could be perfect with a few tweaks. They are impressed by the compact size when folded.
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that gives parents all the options they require. It's compatible with a wide range of car seats and folds up easily by using a
single to double buggy-click mechanism. It comes with a range of extras, including raincovers and liners. Rival brands charge separately for these.
iCandy's Peach pushchair is a popular choice for parents who are fashion-conscious due to its modern and stylish premium jersey fabrics. This new 2022 Peach has been upgraded with a few minor tweaks to improve efficiency and performance without sacrificing aesthetics.
One of the biggest improvements to the latest Peach is the inclusion of a ride-on board, which makes it a great choice for twins. It's also slightly smaller than the previous Peach models but that doesn't mean it from providing all the space you'll need for your children.
It's the perfect double stroller for parents who need something that looks stylish and offers plenty of flexibility. It can be used from birth as a single stroller and then purchase a double kit for it to transform into a twin buggy. It has a large basket as well as five reclining positions that ensure the best comfort for your child. It also features an easy fold that can be folded with one hand and an integrated carry strap. The only drawback is that it can be a little bulky to store when you aren't using it, especially as it folds into two parts rather than one.
iCandy Orange
This is the top twin buggy available. The seats are able to be fitted with liners and footmuffs that keep your children warm during cold weather. The carrycot is simple to attach with the side flaps that open to allow for gate opening. It is spacious and comfortable. Orange chassis can accommodate 30 different combinations of the seat and carrycot.
The wheels are designed to withstand rough terrain and pavements. There is also an enormous shopping basket that's perfect for large supermarkets. The pushchair is light and easy to drive. The rounded pedal brake makes it simple to use, but it's not suitable for flip-flops. It's not the easiest to fold and the latch that holds it folded needs two hands to unlock. After it's folded, the front wheels tuck into the basket and the chassis is free to stand.
The Orange is a great option for parents who appreciate style and have a toddler, baby or both. They're looking for a buggy that will adapt to their child. It's also a good choice for parents who plan to have a second child in the near future who require a flexible double pushchair. The iCandy Orange is not cheap but it's flexible enough that it's likely to last a while and have a good resale value as well. It can also be fitted with a buggy board which can reduce the number of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
The company was founded by a New Zealander, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first pram brand that focuses on all-terrain double pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller can be easily maneuvered through narrow shopping aisles and through doors. It is one the most
compact twin stroller and full-featured double buggies available and has been awarded numerous awards including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
The seats are small enough to allow children of various ages to
sit and stand double stroller comfortably together. They also have independent reclined, allowing children to pick their preferred seating position. The large canopies come with flick-out sun visors and the storage bin is very roomy. It accepts two infant car seats when you buy of adapters for car seats and is compatible with almost all brands which is a major advantage.
The only drawback is the weight. It is hefty at 32.4 lbs and may be difficult to lift into and out of the trunk for Grandma. It's priced higher than other
double stroller for twins buggies. However, it has been made to last and has numerous features for the money. It's a great option for urban parents who don't want to lug around a bulky stroller. And, the padding of the harnesses and the 5-point buckle make it safe for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a stylish, functional and beautiful buggy with a elegant design. It's a premium product, but it's not without flaws.
It offers very few extra features, both for kids and parents. The only thing provided by the tiny side bin is that it can only be used when one car seat is connected. There aren't any cup holders, parent trays or accessory pockets. This could be a problem during long journeys.
The seats aren't very flat and the gap between the seats is large. Our 5-year-old was having trouble sitting back comfortably. It's a pity given that it's a premium vehicle.
On the bright side, it's a easy to maneuver and the swivel wheel is great in climbing steep slopes and steps. It's also small enough to pass through most doors and folds quickly for easy storage and transportation. It can also be converted back to mono mode with just three clicks should you ever need some more room or need to get away. The comfort wheeled board can accommodate an additional child if needed. If you're on budget, there are cheaper options. If you like the brand and can afford it, it's worth the cost.
