Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and MopRobot vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method to quickly clean up messes. The
best automatic vacuum cleaner robot vacs and mops in my tests have top-notch mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
They're also user-friendly using an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and see what they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum combo. It is equipped with the latest features. This premium vacuum is quick and agile, and it picked up pet hair and human dander nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek app interface with a miniature map of your home and a few buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
Another notable feature of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode according to dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
The mop roller has several other clever features, including a dock that connects to the plumbing system in your home to wash and clean it without you having to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8, you can use voice commands to set rooms cleaning options and precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands free
robot vacuum with mop vacuum that also has mopping capabilities. It's one of a variety of robot vacuums with combo features with mops, but is priced at a lower price than the majority of competitors.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to begin, which includes setting up an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, the robot will begin to vacuum and mop with ease.
It's important to note that the mapping process may take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate picture of your room. Additionally the detection of objects can be unpredictable and it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to turn it over to get free. However, these aren't major issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those looking for an all-in-one cleaner.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned and not just cleaned. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach spots even robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
The model is basically identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and a few additional features that are smart. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's layout better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app allows you to modify a range of settings, including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and put the debris in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is long enough to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more premium
robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the money. It has a strong 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for hard floors and carpets and a great obstacle avoidance. It also has an innovative mopping technique that uses a roller constantly sprayed with water to collect dirt and then deposit it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without falling. However, it struggled with fine-grained debris and didn't always clear raised room thresholds. Its operating noise level is also relatively high, so it may be less of a "set-and-forget" model than others.
As with most robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on a routine schedule. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app, which provides an overview of the system and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the
best rated robot vacuum robot mowers and vacuums available, and it provides impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision. The application lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which can be an issue for many
robotic cleaner and mop vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system also includes smart carpet detection, lifting these pads upwards when they're close to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.
The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free center for maintenance that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station features an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust, which allows for 7 weeks of maintenance free operation.
6. S10
This robot is just a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office clean. It also has the ability to reach the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your area which allows it to know which areas to avoid. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can avoid things like dog bowls and toys (but not the poop), unlike many vacuums.
Other great features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not filthy if you're trying to reduce time. If you have several types of flooring in your home and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features, this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice when you're seeking a flexible robot that can perform regular maintenance and touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, and customizable settings via the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It's unable to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug and its battery drains more quickly than other models we test.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that provides powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming, but overall it did very well. It also offers a selection of cleaning options to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for rooms with carpet. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and replace mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in small areas. It's very quiet and fast and is a great choice for maneuvering around tight spaces. It's also extremely effective in removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a good amount of suction power, and it can be configured to take a picture of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they don't get taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and aren't connected to your account.
It is capable of vaccuming, however it isn't as effective at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bottom of the bot, and it essentially drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
