Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust, dirt) and wet messes (spills and staining) in one time without the need to change devices. They can also help save storage space compared to having two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will have excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models that have docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, fill their water tanks and machine-wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has plenty to offer at a modest price and is among the easiest robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and the quick-start guide will get you running with a clean and complete dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in no time.
The S1 Pro is a powerful little machine that is able to clean up a storm and also vacuums well. The mops spin at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly get rid of pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a variety of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app that lets you choose the type of cleaning you want for each room.
For instance, you can decide to let the robot do a deep clean in the living and kitchen areas but take it easy in the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors as well as smart navigation technology. It is able to detect small obstacles that other models cannot. Its only issue is that it tends to hit walls and objects at full speed. However an inspection of the history of cleaning on the app will tell you precisely what the
robot vacuum cleaners best has completed, where it's moving, and what obstacles it has encountered or avoided.
A large LCD screen on the docking station informs the maintenance tasks that need to be done, such as emptying the debris tray and cleaning the dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent automatically into the water tank, using a 600ml bottle of the eufy's solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop are able to run for a long time and the mop is capable of operating for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode, and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in standard mode before having to recharge or return to the base to refill. You can view the entire cleaning information in the app, which is intuitively laid out and easy to understand however we would have liked to be able to differentiate between a vacuum and mop and vacuum clean when looking at a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's top-of-the-line
robot vacuums that mop mop and vacuum, is the newest version. This year's model has an agitator that doubles as its mopping pad. This improves the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to remove small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners might be unable to pick up.
As with the other two Roborock models I've tried, this one has reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology to can help it avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating dual cameras that can detect objects, determining if they're walls or other surfaces. It then can automatically alter its path and clean them without missing a beat.
It's the most expensive model I've tried however it also comes with the most features. Its sleek and angular design is striking and has just three physical buttons which include the power button that also resumes cleaning; a mop-only button that doubles as a child lock and a home button to return the robot to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal the 350ml dust bin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank is self-emptying and the bin auto-filling.
The only drawback I could find to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if it's required) but it's a challenge to take off the mount itself to wash it manually. I've observed that any soft carpet that the
best robot vacuum that mops touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and that could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app is where you can manage and set up these smart features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor the battery life and maintain your components. You'll need to jump through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame, considering how efficient it is otherwise.

The robot is also able to reach under furniture that is low-profile which makes it an ideal option for smaller apartments or condos. The side brush automatically tilts down when it detects wet spots. This is a wonderful feature that helps the X40 to avoid damaging floors by the frequent back-and-forth movement.
Unlike some other robots that solely focus on one task, the X40 can do both vacuuming and mopping simultaneously or individually. It can be programmed to only mop the hard floors and not skip carpeted areas, or vice versa. 4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available. However, it has several characteristics that make it stand out. The mops are equipped with a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. It makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to clean floors more thoroughly than the standard method, and it comes with a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also remove pet hair, small dirt particles and pick up spills and dirt-stained spots.
Its mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This is a fantastic feature as it stops the build-up of odours and mould in the storage area, and it also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen in other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great method to keep your home clean longer.
There are plenty of options, including the ability to schedule cleanings and change preferences. The app lets you define these preferences, or utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and offers many options for customising the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are many features that other robots don't include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power whenever it detects dust particles rather than using a manual setting.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks elegant and elegant. It is a little heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots listed on this list, but it's still not too heavy. It is solid and well-built. The mopping system is well designed, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. They can also extend to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice addition.
