Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgThe majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using a specialized application. You can save maps of your home as well as set up cleaning schedules and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power and the amount of water your mop uses.

An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into wires, furniture, or stray toys. These features are crucial in my house, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is packed with features. It's able to mop and sweep in one session and even lift its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from becoming wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pets plants, a variety of small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is the highest power of any vacuum we've tested to date. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on a surface.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad of more than 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop mop lifting system that will raise the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding soaking these types of soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad is capable of rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can leave it in place and forget it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've test.

This is a highly robust and well-rounded product with the only downside being that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the cost we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. Its high-end price is justified by its robust features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the entire home. It was able to eliminate 98.4% debris on all kinds of floors and was able to lift hair that was long without tangling. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dries its mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's many top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance and care. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads that are sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a tighter budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find however, its price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs an impressive suction force of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity to power mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle avoidance. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire length of the bot, and it is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being then pumped into a larger storage canister. The onboard tank holds plenty of water, and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. If you opt for this option, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning products.

Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this could be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is complex, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've created. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.

Like all the Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is reliable, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be an issue for people who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of debris and dust that are left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot to make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
