It also comes with an best automatic vacuum mop lifting system which will lift the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding soaking these types of soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can just put it away and forget about it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop- and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. But its abundance of features makes it a tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mop. If you can afford the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. Its high-end price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It also has a smart, app-enabled controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it did well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair without knots. The mops were also great, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, refills the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry your mop pads. It also has an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its intelligent controls.

Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robot vacuum that mops robotic mop and vacuum combination you could purchase however, its cost and constant maintenance will make it seem more a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up comes with a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It also comes with a roller mop that cleans itself while moving and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it receives a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. When it turns the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements, and then pumped into a larger storage canister. The tank that is onboard holds a decent amount of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you do select this option you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal choice of cleaners.

Like many robots that vacuum and mop, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map a space and navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this could be fixed when the software is updated. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start the full map and then clear everything that's been that the device maps, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is efficient by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot the dangers of carpets that are thick however it won't always recognize smaller things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

This device has a major flaw: it does not offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each session.
