Most
robot vacuum cleaner uk vacuum-mop combos can be customized with an app that can save your home's maps as well as set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping feature aids your robot navigate rooms while an obstacle avoidance function will stop it from hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These features are crucial in my home filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and lift its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to recognize pets, plants and other small objects.
The maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is higher than any vacuum we've tested so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad at more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to prevent soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsed and heat-dried within the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can put it away and forget about it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its standard vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and then return to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids that I've tried.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a appealing option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mop. We highly recommend this model when you can justify the cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line mop and robot vacuum. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it was able to perform very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floor types and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as the powerful cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's real highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It also features a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be emptied, and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are purchased separately, will need to be replaced periodically too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find but its high price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a want than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa as well as a massive battery that can be used for both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It even has mop rollers that clean itself while moving, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. As it rotates, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water in its base station, where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements, and then empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.
As with most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map the area and was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with larger piles a few times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has a lot of functionality at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level
automatic vacuum and mop and mop but it does have some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've created. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to find the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the area.
Like all the Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic way. The 'Normal" pathing setting covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick but it might not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.
This machine has one major issue: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. The mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice touch and helps this
robot cleaner get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
