The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an application that is specifically designed for. You can save maps of your house and organize cleaning schedules, and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also adjust the suction power and the amount of water the mop is using.

A mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles helps it avoid running over furniture, wires or other toys. These are essential features for my house, stuffed with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is loaded with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to identify pets, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum cleaner vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping function is impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide an intense clean. It also comes with mop lifter that will lift the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be used for rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've tried.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. But its abundance of features makes it a very tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to ditch their old stick vacuum and mop. If you can justify the price we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The high price is justified by its robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two mop heads that rotate. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

robotic-vacuum-cleaner-cleaning-the-room-while-wom-2024-11-07-13-20-10-utc-min-jpg-original.jpgThe L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well throughout the home. It removed 98.4 percent of debris from all kinds of floors and was able to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and a strong dose cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced docking station that is multi-functional. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, then refills the tank with water to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's numerous top-of-the-line features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads that are sold separately will require replacement every few months.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey price tag and extensive functionality I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a budget, I would suggest an easier model that allows you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best automatic vacuum and mop robot mop and vacuum you could find, its high cost and constant maintenance will make it more of a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet mess, then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity to power mopping and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacles-avoiding. It also comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Dry debris is swept away with the side brushes, or swept away into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and dumped into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and handle up to half a dozen mopping session before running out.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do within the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a few times on larger pile carpets and rugs in my tests, but this may be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and best automatic vacuum cleaner, but it has some outstanding features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, with a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can choose particular rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've evaluated The Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but may not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and dirt that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice touch and helps the robot to make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
